Quixote Transferring
Downtown In August
Canis Tempus’ workshop production of Quixote has
just received a new lease on life. Artistic Director Andrew Cuk
has announced that his company will be mounting an expanded version
of the show in August.
Quixote’s new home will be the Portuguese Association on Saint Urbain in Montreal’s
Plateau district. Cuk confirms that his company will spend a
month in the space in order to create a customized environment
for his creation.
“The Portuguese Association space includes an unusual balcony set up,” Cuk explained. “We’re going to be able to take full advantage of the performance space’s
architectural quirks to add a new dimension to our show.”
